Back to TopWhen is it a good time to include Ashmak in the development of a new product? It is best to include Ashmak and its team as early in the development process as possible so that timely and fact based feedback can be collected and provided to the development team for consideration. This fact based feedback from key medical end-users has saved many manufacturers from potentially failed products and from having to redesign products once released. An example of this is when a partner manufacture design a product for military use. The product was designed based on the understanding of a design engineer who had limited military application experience. When the product was shown to the Institute of Surgical Research (ISR) staff at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio Texas, they immediately reviewed the design and offered feedback which dramatically changed the form and function of the product still solving the problem of the soldier on the battlefield. It was felt by our partner manufacture that this timely information saved them in the design process and also made the product more sellable to the military. Back to Top |
